Youth

Our Youth Ministry exists to expose teenagers to God’s love, to equip them to exalt God, to enjoy other believers, and experience the work of the ministry.

Our church provides many exciting and growth-centered experiences:

UMYF

Sunday evenings 6:00 p.m., September - June, and at other special designated times we share in youth ministry for those 11 - 18 years of age.  The emphasis is upon study, fellowship, and outreach. 

Throughout the year additional activities are organized for the youth.  They include winter ski trips, summer retreats, concerts, movies, lock-ins, hay rides, camp fires, trips to other youth, and service projects.  Teens can expect lots of music, food, and fun as they focus on Jesus.  One of these additional activities unique to Morris is Praise Café. This event is help periodically throughout the year with other youth groups frequently invited.  It always proves to be a time for praise, food, music, drama, dance, and good fellowship for all adults and youth alike. 

Beyond our local church, many of our youth participate in District and Conference events including Summer Youth Celebration, District picnics, and Fall Workshop .

Sunday School

Children are offered an interesting and exciting curriculum in a nurturing classroom setting. Several different Sunday School Classes are ongoing arranged by age from  21/2 -- the senior year of high school. Current Sunday School class divisions include Pre-elementary ( 21/2 years - Kindergarten), Lower Elementary (1-3 grade), Upper Elementary (4-5 grade), and Jr/Sr High
