                   ADULT MINISTRIES

DISCIPLE I, II, and III

Thirty-four and thirty-two week Bible Study courses are available for your growth as a disciple.  A group of twelve people meet weekly and study daily during these respective courses.  Recruitment for the classes is done during the Fall and Winter.  Classes begin either in September or January.

PREVENTIVE CARE MINISTRIES

Adults have the opportunity to exercise three times per week in our Family Life Center.  The classes are targeted for our senior adults, however, it is open to all adults.

FIT FOR THE KING EXERCISE

Women of all ages meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center for an aerobics class.  The class is lead by a certified instructor.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

Morris Memorial currently has three circles of United Methodist Women.  Two circles meet during the day ( the second Tuesday and second Thursday of each month at noon and 12:30 p.m.); the third circle is an evening circle which meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  This gives working women an opportunity to participate.  The United Methodist Women are involved in missions and work on projects that benefit our church, community, and world parish.

UNITED METHODIST MEN

The men gather on the third Saturday morning of each month at 8:30 a.m. for prayer breakfast.  The fellowship is great and they share in special local mission activities, such as feeding the men at the Men's Emergency Shelter.

VOLUNTEER MINISTRIES

There are numerous mission ministries that need volunteers.  We work with organizations such as Union Mission, Community Development Outreach Ministries, Heart and Hand House, Covenant House, Sojourners, Manna Meals, etc.

SMALL GROUPS

The people of Morris Memorial are encouraged to be a part of a small group.  These groups are formed on a annual basis for study, fellowship, prayer, mission, and accountability.  You may call the church office for additional information.
